Gas prices in Nova Scotia nearing $1.50 per litre

Another increase in the price for gasoline in Nova Scotia.

The provincial regulator moving the price for self serve regular up by 2.3 cents at midnight to a new minimum of 143.9.

Diesel prices are also up this morning, with the price for fuel rising by 3.5 cents to 142.5.

One year ago, Nova Scotians were paying 94 cents per litre for gasoline and 88 cents per litre for diesel.

Oil was trading at $40.27 (U.S.) per barrel, just over 40 dollars per barrel less than yesterday's closing price of $81.31.
