Police investigate gunfire on Dartmouth highway

Police are investigating after a shooting in Dartmouth on Wednesday night. 

HRP says officers were called to reports of shots fired in the area of Highway 111 and exit 3 near Burnside Dr. just after 9 p.m.

They say a vehicle had been struck by what appears to be gunfire from another vehicle. 

There was no immediate indication anyone had been injured, although police say they were still in the early stages of the investigation. 

Anyone with information is being asked to reach out to police or to Crime Stoppers.
