24-year-old man stabbed in downtown Halifax

A 24-year-old man was stabbed on Saturday night in downtown Halifax on Brunswick Street.
Halifax Regional Police received a report of the incident in Nov. 27 at 10:47 p.m.
The man was found with a stab wound to his upper body in the 1000-2000 block of Brunswick Street, somewhere between Doyle and Cogswell streets.
“He was treated by EHS and transported to the QEII Health Sciences Centre for what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries,” an HRP news release says.
A 26 year old man was taken into custody near the scene and charges are pending.
HRP isn't looking for any other suspects at this time but the investigation is still ongoing.
