By Dan Ahlstrand

Drivers are waking up to lower gasoline prices in Nova Scotia this morning.

The provincial regulator lowering the minimum price by 5.7 cents at midnight to 125.8.

The change comes just two days after the provincial regulator used the interrupter clause on Wednesday to drop the price for gasoline by 7.5 cents.

Diesel prices are also down this morning with the price for fuel slipping by 5.2 cents to 125.6.

Diesel prices were also lowered on Wednesday as part of the interrupter clause adjustment, a move that saw prices dropped by 7.1 cents.

At this time last year we were paying 94 cents for gasoline, 95 cents for diesel.

Oil was trading at $45.64 (U.S.) per barrel, just under 21 dollars less than yesterday's closing price of $66.50.
