Spryfield bank branch robbed

Halifax Regional Police are searching for a suspect after a bank branch in Spryfield was robbed Wednesday.

They say a woman demanded money from a teller at the RBC Royal Bank on Herring Cove Road at around 2:30 p.m.

She's described as white and in her 30s. She had been wearing a grey winter hat and a black mask and carrying a green backpack.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 902-490-5020 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
