Police look for suspect following robbery

Halifax Regional Police are looking for a young teen with a black eye following a robbery early Friday afternoon in Dartmouth.
They say a male youth stole a knife from the Dollarama on Portland Street near Portland Estates just before 12:30 p.m., then used it to threaten an employee.
Police say the teen demanded the staff member's phone, then ran out of the store.
No one was physically hurt.
The suspect is described as white and around 14 years old. His right eye was bruised.
He had been wearing a burgundy hoodie and grey sweatpants.
Anyone with information or video from the area is asked to 902-490-5020, or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
