Night flight exercises this week at 12 Wing Shearwater

Those living near 12 Wing Shearwater may hear some unusual activity this week.
The Royal Canadian Air Force said night flight exercises will be held on the CH-148 Cyclone from May 31 to June 2.
“It is anticipated there could be noise disruptions to the public during this time,” it said in a news release.
“Aircraft will be entering and exiting the area of 12 Wing through their normal routes as well as conducting training on the airfield.”
The RCAF added the training is necessary to ensure personnel are ready for military operations.
