Bedford Highway convenience store robbed

Halifax Regional Police are searching for a suspect after a convenience store along the Bedford Highway was robbed early Tuesday.

They say a man took cash and cigarettes from the Circle K attached to the Irving gas station just north of Kearney Lake Road at around 4:15 a.m.

The suspect is described as white, in his 20s, and around 5'5″ with a thin build.

He had been wearing a black jacket with a hood, a face mask and he had been carrying a green shopping bag. 

Anyone with information or video from the area is asked to call 902-490-5020 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
