NS Health offering drop-in vaccine appointments next week

The Nova Scotia Health’s vaccine outreach clinics will offer drop-ins for vaccine appointments next week. 

NS Health says those who go to the clinics can receive their first, second and additional doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. 

Information for those in the central zone:

Tantallon Public Library (Pfizer – anyone age 5+)

3646 Hammonds Plains Rd., Upper Tantallon

Monday, Aug. 22 from 10:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Sackville Public Library (Pfizer – anyone age 5+)

636 Sackville Dr., Lower Sackville

Tuesday, Aug. 23 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Family Resource Centre of West Hants (Pfizer – anyone age 5+)

61 Morison Dr., Windsor

Wednesday, Aug. 24 from 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Alderney Gate Public Library (Pfizer – anyone age 5+)

60 Alderney Dr., Dartmouth

Friday, Aug. 26 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

NS Health is asking people to check back frequently for additional clinics, cancellations and time changes.

NS Health says those who need a lift can organize transportation to and from vaccine appointments through Rural Rides for a $5 return. Visit https://ruralrides.ca/ to find the nearest provider. Those who need a ride must book at least 24 hours in advance.

All eligible Nova Scotians are encouraged to vaccinate against COVID-19 as soon as possible.
