Police say a man and woman possessed fraudulent identification and documents and attempted to gain access to someone’s personal bank account.

Officers learned the same suspects tried to access another two bank accounts earlier in that day using fraudulent identification and documents.

The two accounts belonged to individuals at other TD Bank locations in Halifax and Dartmouth.

Police say the suspects could not access the accounts and were arrested at the scene on the TD Bank on Bedford Highway without incident.
