Mooseheads defeat Islanders 4-1

The Halifax Mooseheads topped the Charlottetown Islanders 4-1 on Thursday night.

Lucas Romeo opened up the scoring, giving the Islanders a 1-0 lead.

Attilio Biasca tied things up for the Herd late in the opening period to make it 1-1.

Jordan Dumais scored twice in the second period to give Halifax a 3-1 lead after two periods.

Logan Crosby scored an empty netter late in the final period to make it a 4-1 final in the Herd's favour.

The Mooseheads are back in the Scotiabank Centre on Saturday when they welcome the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies.
