Halifax-native Mattea Roach returns to Jeopardy! Tuesday night.
The former Sacred Heart student will face off against fellow super-champions Amy Schneider and Matt Amodio in an exhibition showdown.
All three have been given first-round byes in the quiz show's Tournament of Champions. This means they automatically advance to the semi-finals, which start Wednesday. Roach's semi-final match airs Friday.

In a tweet, Ken Jennings said tonight's super-champion exhibition match was specifically planned for November 8 as many U.S. markets may need to pre-empt the show for election coverage. Good news for us though, according to the local TV listings, the CBS affiliate in Boston still has Jeopardy! on its schedule for 8:30 p.m. Halifax time.

Roach had a 23 game winning streak this spring, the fifth-longest in Jeopardy! history.

She also has the fifth-highest earnings in the show's regular season with a total haul of US$560,983.
