Gas and diesel prices drop overnight in Nova Scotia

Another drop in the price for gasoline in Nova Scotia.

The UARB using it's weekly adjustment to lower the price for gas by 5.6 cents to a new minimum price of 156.1 per litre.

Diesel prices also fell at midnight, with the price for fuel dipping by 6.1 cents to 243.5 per litre.

At this time last year, motorists were paying 1.39 per litre for gasoline, 1.38 for diesel.

Oil was selling  at $78.39 us per barrel, just under a dollar more than yesterday's closing price fo $77.95.
