Police investigate after man grabs youth’s shoulder

Halifax Regional Police are investigating after a man grabbed a youth's shoulder.

Police were told the youth was walking along Dartmouth's Ellenvale Avenue at around 8:20 a.m. Monday when a man got out of a parked vehicle and grabbed the youth.

The youth got away and the man left the area.

The man is described as being in his late 40s to 60s with a long beard to his chest. He had been wearing a black baseball hat and black clothing.  

The vehicle is described as a black four-door sedan. 

Anyone with information or video from the area is asked to call police at 902-490-5020 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
