Mooseheads’ defenceman to miss a month with broken foot

The Halifax Mooseheads will be without one of the team's top defensemen for a while.
Cam Whynot will be out for four weeks after suffering a broken foot, the club announced on Thursday morning.
The 19-year-old Kentville, NS native has put up three goals and 25 assists this season, his fourth with the Mooseheads.
It's not clear if Whynot will be able to return to the lineup in time to start the playoffs. Halifax's regular season will end Mar. 25.
