Wentworth man facing Attempted Murder charges after a series of incidents

A Wentworth, Nova Scotia, man faces several charges, including Attempted Murder, after being arrested in New Brunswick on Thursday.

Police were called to a residence in Wentworth on March 21st after an altercation between 54-year-old Leland Lynds and another man. Lynds had already left the scene before police arrived, and a short time later, investigators asked the public for help in finding him. 6 days later, the court issued a warrant for Lynds arrest on charges of Unsafe Storage of a Firearm and Failure to Comply with Conditions of a Release Order.

Officers chased after the suspect but called off their pursuit due to high speeds, and he managed to escape.
