Man faces slew of charges in connection to human trafficking

Regional police have charged a man in connection to a human trafficking investigation.
According to police, they received a report in January of human trafficking taking place in the region.
After an investigation, HRP identified a suspect and last Friday, officers searched a home in Halifax where a man was arrested and a number of electronic devices were seized.
Police say Adam Ray Greenlaw, 40, has been charged in connection to incidents that occurred between May 2021 and April 2023 involving five victims, some of whom were youths at the time of the incidents.
Greenlaw is scheduled to appear in provincial court on Wednesday to face the following charges:
- Trafficking in persons (x2)
- Human trafficking for material benefit (x2)
- Human trafficking for material benefit of a young person
- Sexual assault (x5)
- Sexual interference (x2)
- Procuring of a young person (x2)
- Procuring
- Advertising sexual services
- Printing and publishing of child pornography
- Assault with a weapon
- Unlawful confinement
- Uttering threats
