Mooseheads look to avoid elimination on home ice

The Halifax Mooseheads will have home-ice advantage Sunday as they look to force a game seven in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League championship.

The Moose avoided elimination on Friday, downing the Quebec Rampart 3-2 in Quebec City, forcing a game six at Scotiabank Centre Sunday at 5 p.m.

Early Sunday afternoon, there will still a few tickets left for the contest, but Scotiabank Centre will likely be a sell-out as fans get their last chance to cheer on their team at home.

If the Moose win tonight, game seven is scheduled for Monday night at 8:30 at Centre Videotron in Quebec City.

You can catch all of the action live with Play By Play Announcer Garreth MacDonald on CityNews 95.7 or online at Halifax.CityNews.Ca, with the puck drop scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
