Partial evacuation rescind order issued for Tantallon area fire

A partial evacuation rescind order has been issued for the Tantallon area fire.

In an emergency alert sent out at roughly 4 p.m. on Friday, it said it applies to the Lucasville Road area from Sackville Drive to Hammonds Plains Road as well as the area surrounding it, including Timbertrails.

The order also applies to south of Hammonds Plains Road to St. George Boulevard, and the Stillwater Lake area south of Pinetree Crescent.

The alert said to find out if your residence is in the evacuation area, you can visit the city’s website.
