Crews battle mobile home fire near Seabright

No injuries are being reported as Halifax Fire crews fight a fire in the Seabright area early Tuesday.

An official with the service told CityNews Halifax a mobile home was “fully involved” in fire as of 5:30 a.m.

The people inside all managed to get out without serious injury, though some were being looked at for smoke inhalation.

The district chief couldn’t confirm road closures but said Peggy’s Cove Rd. would likely be down to one lane in the Seabright area to allow water to be brought to the scene of the fire. Expect delays in the area.
