Regional police have charged a man in connection to an aggravated assault on Sunday.

Shortly before 4 a.m. on July 23, police received a report about a disturbance outside an establishment on Argyle Street.

Police say they found an unresponsive man on the sidewalk and they were transported to hospital with what were believed to be life-threatening injuries.

On Wednesday, officers arrested Dorelle Trevya Parsons, 31, in Dartmouth in relation to the assault.

He was scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court on Thursday to face a charge of aggravated assault.
