Federal NDP Leader visiting HRM on Thursday

The leader of the federal New Democrats is making a stop in Halifax on Thursday.  Jagmeet Singh is scheduled to host a round table on the high cost of rent in the city over the noon hour and then hold a news conference at 1 p.m.

Singh is also expected to spend some time with HRM Mayor Mike Savage to discuss the recent wildfires in the city and to talk about federal help with the recent flooding.

The Halifax stop is part of Singh’s Atlantic Canada tour.
