Suspect sought after Dartmouth grocery store is robbed

Halifax Regional Police are searching for a suspect after the No Frills store on Wyse Road was robbed on Wednesday.

Police say the incident began when a man walked into the store and took some merchandise off the shelves.

The man threatened a staff member with a sensory irritant and knife when confronted, then ran out of the store and left the scene on a red bicycle.

The man is described as being white and in his 30s, standing about 5’7″ tall with light blonde facial hair and a thin build. He was wearing a dark baseball cap, red t-shirt and dark pants.
