Police search for suspects in overnight South End robbery

Police are looking for a pair of suspects connected to a robbery in the South End.

Halifax Regional Police say the incident occurred at approximately 9:45 last night at the Circle K/Irving Gas station at 5450 Inglis Street, near Victoria Road.

Police say two men described as in their twenties allegedly stole cigarettes and food items after forcing their way behind the cash register.

The staff member working at the time of the incident was not injured and no weapons were reported.

Both suspects fled area on foot, in an unknown direction of travel.

The first suspect is described as a light skinned male with a brown goatee, wearing a grey hoodie with the number 22 on it and a brown jacket.

The second suspect is described as a medium skinned male, thin build, with a neck tattoo, wearing a black collared shirt and a black bucket-style hat with dinosaur pattern.

Anyone with information about this incident, video from the area or the identity of the suspects is asked to call police at 902-490-5016.
