Halifax police search for driver involved in hit-and-run

Halifax Regional Police (HRP) have released photos of a vehicle allegedly involved in a hit-and-run earlier this month.

According to HRP, on Aug. 6 just before 2 p.m. a pickup truck struck a parked vehicle in the lot 60 Tacoma Dr. The crash caused significant damage police said, and the pickup drove off.

The vehicle is described as a black four door, Chevrolet Silverado. The driver is described as a white man in his 60s with grey hair and a beard.

Anyone with information is asked to reach out to police or Crime Stoppers.
