Slight jump to diesel prices overnight, while gas holds steady

There was no change to gasoline prices in Halifax overnight.

The provincial regulator decided not to make any changes in the price of regular self-serve in its weekly adjustment so the fuel remains at $184.4 this morning.

However, the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board did raise the price of diesel by 2.4 cents overnight.

Diesel is priced at $203.4 this morning.

This time last year, we were paying $1.57 for gas, and $1.87 for diesel.
