Halifax fire crews investigate unknown substance at Canada Post
There was a large emergency response at the Canada Post facility in north end Halifax on Wednesday.
Halifax Fire and Emergency chief Dave Meldrum said crews were called around 12:30 p.m. to the Almon St. facility to reports of a broken package that had leaked an unknown substance.
“There are no signs or symptoms of illness and no perceived risk to the public,” Meldrum said.
