Halifax police charge 17-year-old with stunting

Regional police have charged a youth for stunting near Bedford on Monday.

Police say at roughly 9:15 a.m., an officer clocked a vehicle driving 158 km/h in a 100 km/h zone on Hwy. 102 near Duke Street.

A 17-year-old youth was handed a ticket for stunting which comes with a fine of $2,422.50 and six points being assigned to the driver’s record.

Police say the youth was suspended from driving for seven days and the vehicle they were driving was seized.
