UARB invokes interrupter to change the price of gasoline

By CityNews Halifax staff

The price of gasoline will see an unscheduled adjustment this week in Nova Scotia.

The Utility and Review Board has announced it is invoking its interrupter clause and prices will change at midnight tonight.

The provincial regulator says the move is necessary due to significant shifts in the market price for oil.

The UARB does not say whether prices will be going up or down, or by how much.

It says diesel prices will not be changing.
