Mooseheads pick up dominant 9-1 win over Titan

The Halifax Mooseheads picked up a dominant 9-1 win over the Acadie-Bathurst Titan on Sunday.

The Mooseheads dominated the opening frame as Cade Moser, Brody Fournier and Braeden MacPhee each found the back of the Titan net to make it 3-0 after 20 minutes.

Logan Crosby extended Halifax’s lead to 4-0 early in the second period with Fournier following up with his second goal of the afternoon.

Colby Huggan put the Titan on the board near the midway point of the second but Lou Lévesque answered back to make it 6-1 after two periods.

Moser gave Halifax a six goal lead early in the final period, scoring his second of the afternoon.

David Moravec and Jake Todd scored late in the third to make it a 9-1 final in the Mooseheads’ favour.

The Mooseheads will make their way to Cape Breton on Wednesday to take on the Eagles.
