Mooseheads shut out Cape Breton 2-0

The Halifax Mooseheads shut out the Cape Breton Eagles 2-0 on Wednesday night.

After neither team managed to light the lamp in the first two periods, Logan Crosby ended the scoring drought near the midway point of the third period to give Halifax a 1-0 lead.

Markus Vidicek eventually iced the game with an empty netter to give the Herd the 2-0 victory.

The Mooseheads are back in the Scotiabank Centre on Friday when they welcome the Victoriaville Tigres.
