Interrupter clause causes diesel price jump overnight

By CityNews Halifax Staff

The Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board (NARB) invoked the interrupter clause on the price of diesel overnight.

That means diesel will now cost you $208.9 cents per litre, a price hike of $7.6 cents.

According to the provincial regulator, this change was necessary due to significant shifts in the market price for diesel oil.

The price of gasoline did not change overnight.
