Atlantic Canada’s hottest rising young stars to play free show in Halifax on Saturday

This Saturday will mark the kick off the Wavemakers Tour of Atlantic Canada in Halifax.

A spotlight for emerging local artists to gain exposure and build a sense of community pride and excitement leading up to JUNO week in March, the Saturday show in Halifax will performances by Atay & JAX, Kayo, Maggie Andrew, and Moira & Claire.

The show, which takes place starting at 7:30 p.m. at the Light House Arts Centre, will also feature host and special guest performer, JUNO Award winner Rose Cousins.

To make things even better, the show is free and open to those ages 19 and over.

In addition to live musical performances, fans will get a chance to walk the Red Carpet, take a photo with a real Juno Award and vote for their favourite performer of the night.

In addition to Halifax, The Wavemakers Tour of Atlantic Canada will visit five cities including Charlottetown, Fredericton, Sydney, and St. John’s, Newfoundland.
