Halifax Regional Police investigating weekend hit and run

Police in Halifax are investigating a hit and run that happened over the weekend.
According to the HRP, officers responded to a crash at the 1700 block of Barrington St. early Saturday morning.
Police say a vehicle was struck by another vehicle as it was travelling through the intersection at Prince St., the hit vehicle then collided with a parked car before running into a business on Barrington Street.
The HRP says the driver involved did not stop and was reported to have fled the scene west on Prince St.
The suspect vehicle is described as a dark coloured SUV. No injuries were reported.
Anyone with information is asked to call the HRP or Crime Stoppers.
