COVID forces Harry DeWolf to cut Great Lakes trip short

HMCS Harry DeWolf is cutting a trip through the Great Lakes short, and COVID is to blame.

The Royal Canadian Navy says the ship is dealing with a significant number of COVID cases, and will be returning to Halifax on Saturday to try to stop the spread.

The Harry DeWolf has been touring the Great Lakes for most of this month, now cancelling what looked to be the last leg of the trip through Montreal, Quebec City and Trois Rivieres.

The command team says all preventative measures have been taken to contain the spread.
