Police investigate vehicle pedestrian collision in Dartmouth

Regional police are investigating an incident after a vehicle struck a pedestrian in Dartmouth on Monday night.

Shortly before 10 p.m., officers responded to an injured person near Spring Avenue and Dorothea Drive where a vehicle struck a pedestrian who was walking in the centre of the roadway.

Police say the pedestrian, a 39-year-old man, was taken to hospital with what are believed to be life threatening injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
