More power outages in Nova Scotia

More people in Nova Scotia were plunged into darkness on Thursday morning as another round of power interruptions kept crews busy.

Nova Scotia Power has been working since Monday to restore power after a powerful wind storm moved through Nova Scotia, and freezing rain on Thursday added more interruptions to the list.

As of 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Nova Scotia Power’s outage map showed more than 24,000 customers were without power, the most were in the Halifax area —the estimated restoration times vary as late as Thursday night.
