Mooseheads kick off Quebec road trip with a big win

The last Quebec road trip for the Mooseheads this season is off to a good start after they beat the Sherbrooke Phoenix 5-2 on Thursday night.

The Herds, Markus Vidicek earned the second star of the game and scored in the first period and later assisted a goal scored by Brady Schultz in the second. Vidicek also scored the winning goal in an empty net in the third, his 38th this season assisted by Schultz.

Netminder, Mathis Rousseau earned the first star of the game with 29 saves and Peter Reynolds earned the third star, Reynolds picked up a goal and an assist.

The Herd will continue the road trip by playing the Olympiques in Gatineau tomorrow night.
