Halifax Regional Police searching for a suspect wanted in connection to an incident involving a minor

Halifax Regional Police are looking for man that is alleged to have approached a girl that was walking home from school this afternoon.

According to a release from the HRP, the incident happened on Rosedale Avenue between 3:05 and 3:15PM where the man reportedly tried to grab the 10-year-old girl by the arm. The victim escaped the man and went to a nearby house for help.

The suspect was last seen running up Rosedale Avenue towards Willett Street. He is described as being 5’10 in his late 20’s wearing all black clothing and has brown hair. He was also reported to have had a tattoo of a flower on the left side of his neck under his jawline.
