A 21-year-old woman is facing three counts of robbery charges after incidents in Halifax and Dartmouth on Thursday.

Halifax Regional Police says three robberies over the course of the day targeted Irving gas stations with two in Halifax and one in Dartmouth.

Police say the first incident happened at roughly 4:50 a.m. on Robie Street.

Then a pair of similar incidents happened at other Irving gas stations at roughly 9:45 a.m. at the Pleasant Street location and at roughly 6:05 a.m. at the Quinpool Road location.

HRP says each incident involved the suspect telling the employee they had a knife and making off with cash. No one was hurt.

At roughly 11:45 p.m., officers arrested the suspect at HRP headquarters when the suspect turned themselves into police.

Katherine Ethyl Bagnald, 21, was scheduled to appear in Halifax provincial court on Friday to face three counts of robbery.
