The weather is about to take another stormy turn in Nova Scotia.
Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning for the Atlantic Coast of Nova Scotia, including HRM and Digby County, for rainfall amounts in the 25-50 mm range.
The national forecaster says the storm will begin in the west of Nova Scotia around noon on Sunday, reaching the eastern sections by evening.
Strong winds are also associated with this storm, with forecasters predicting gusts to 80 km/h.
There is also the possibility of higher-than-normal water levels near high tide on Sunday in an area ranging from Yarmouth along the Atlantic coast to Halifax County.
Environment Canada also says that some areas of eastern Nova Scotia could see up to 5 cm of snow over higher terrain Sunday night.
