Mueller scores hat-trick to lead Moncton 3-2 over Mooseheads

Miles Mueller led the Moncton Wildcats to a 3-2 victory over the Halifax Mooseheads on Saturday.
The Mooseheads took an early lead thanks to a Jake Todd tally 2:10 into the opening frame.
Moncton evened things up as Miles Mueller netted one in the final seconds of the first period.
Markus Vidicek restored the Herd’s lead, making it 2-1 early in the second period but Mueller tied things up again in the final moments of the period to make it 2-2 heading into the third.
Mueller completed the hat-trick early in the third period to give the lead, which they would hold on to as they edged out the Mooseheads 3-2.
The Mooseheads will make their way to Saint John for their penultimate game of the regular season against the Sea Dogs.
