HRM is in store for another weekend soaking.
Environment Canada issued a rainfall warning early on Saturday, advising people to be on the lookout for significant amounts of rain that is forecast to fall Saturday evening and to carry on through Sunday.
The warning says 25 to 50 mm of rain is expected to fall during that period and could be heavy at times and cause some localized flooding.
HRM is expected to see some flurry activity to start the day. Saturday evening, those flurries will change over to rain, with about 20 mm falling before midnight.
Sunday, the rain will continue through the day, bringing an additional 30 mm before tapering off in the afternoon.
The winds will also pick up as this storm passes through, with gusts as strong as 80 km/h expected on Saturday night.
