Suspect that led to alert in several N.S. counties taken into custody

A suspect is in custody in connection to an alert that was sent out this morning to Colchester, Cumberland, East Hants and Pictou counties.

That emergency alert was sent after a report of a man with a firearm in the Hillcrest Avenue area of Bible Hill.

In the alert, Nova Scotia RCMP asked anyone in the area should seek immediate shelter or shelter-in-place and lock doors and windows as the suspect was on foot.
