N.S. gas prices continue to rise

Nova Scotians saw another increase in the price of gasoline on Friday morning.

The Nova Scotia Utilities and Review Board (NSUARB) used its weekly adjustment to raise the price of self-serve regular gasoline by 2.3 cents to a new minimum of 187.3.

The news was better for those needing diesel. Fuel prices fell at midnight by 4.9 cents to 181.9.

At this time last year, drivers were paying 1.55 for gasoline and 1.41 for diesel.
