Hwy. 101 crash leaves Halifax man with life-threatening injuries

RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment is investigating a serious vehicle collision that happened in the suburb of Bedford early Sunday morning.

Police say at around 2:50 a.m., emergency crews responded to a report of a vehicle crash on the ramp of exit 1H on Highway 101 East.

Officers say that a Toyota Corolla rolled onto exit 4A of Highway 102 North.

The vehicle’s passenger, a 24-year-old Halifax man, suffered life-threatening injuries.

He was transported to hospital by EHS.

The driver and two other passengers suffered minor injuries and were sent to hospital for observation.

The investigation is ongoing.

Both exits were closed for several hours but have since reopened.
