Halifax woman among 3 dead in N.B. crash

Three people are dead after a vehicle plunged down an embankment near Shediac, N.B. on Friday morning.

The RCMP said the three were travelling in a vehicle on Highway 132, when it veered off the road, plunged down a 30-metre embankment and flipped onto its roof.

Police say the driver and two other occupants of the vehicle died at the scene.

The victims are a 25-year-old woman from Halifax, a 54-year-old man from Indian Island First Nation and a 51-year-old man from Upper Rexton.

The investigation is ongoing.
