Eastern Passage man faces multiple child pornography offences

An Eastern Passage man is facing multiple child pornography-related offences.
On May 30, officers executed a search warrant at a home in Eastern Passage after being tipped off by a social media platform that a Nova Scotia man was transmitting child pornography.
Mounties said they arrested a 52-year-old Eastern Passage man and during the search, they found and seized electronic devices.
Todd Allen Sawler faces a number of charges including failure to comply with a probation order, possession of child pornography and making child pornography, among others.
According to RCMP, this is the second time Sawler has been charged for offences involving children in Nova Scotia.
He appeared in Dartmouth Provincial Court on May 31 and was remanded into custody.
He will return to court later this month as the investigation continues.
