Dartmouth man charged with child luring

A man from Dartmouth will be in court later this summer facing charges of child luring.

Halifax Regional Police says members of the Internet Child Exploitation unit arrested David Wayne Maurice Grant, 50, on Tuesday.

He’s facing charges including luring a person under 18 years of age by means of telecommunication and providing sexually explicit content to a child with intent.

Grant is scheduled to answer to the charges in Dartmouth Provincial Court on Aug. 13.
