RCMP arrest several people after home invasion in Inverness County

Six people are facing charges in relation to a home invasion in Inverness County.

RCMP said the incident occurred in Waycobah on June 14 shortly before 5 a.m.

Officers responding to the report of a home invasion on Tower Road learned a 33-year-old man had been lured out of his home by a woman and chased by a group of men, a release states.

After he escaped, the men, known to the victim, allegedly entered the home.

During extensive patrols, officers located the suspects and during a subsequent search, found and seized firearms.

Another suspect was picked up June 17 who was connected to the incident.

Lawrence MacCormick, 46, Jody Matthew Googoo, 30, Faith Blossom, 22, Bernard, Desmond Herman Bernard, 28, Coady James Isadore, 36 and Landon Jakob Johnson, 19, all face several charges including robbery with a firearm, break and enter and other offences.

As a result of the June 17 arrest, Coady James Isadore is facing additional charges.

Landon Jakob Johnson is still wanted by the Inverness County District RCMP and efforts continue to locate him.
